Although Rosa had to live with these rules and segregation as she grew, she managed to develop a sense of equality among the races. Rosa Parks was truly agile in the NAACP and the Montgomery Voters League. By her mid-life, Rosa became even to a greater extent involved in the pursuit of racial justice. She participated in boycotts against va riant facilities obliterateorsing segregation.As well as being negligent in her fights for equality, Rosa had various jobs and extensive education. She attended Alabama secernate University, and later held jobs as a housekeeper, and seamstress. After the sequent on the bus Rosa was continually threatened and roiled; however, she would not give up her efforts towards equality.

Following her husbands death in 1977, Rosa founded an institute in order to help  dispirited youths, The Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development. Throughout the end of her life, she acquire many awards and recognitions for her contributions like NAA CPs Spingarn apportion -1979, Martin Luther! King junior Award -1980, Inducted into the Michigan Womens Hall of Fame -1983.
